Welder - GTAW (ARC 5 / ARC 6) Night Shift WLY

Details: The GTAW (Arc 5/Arc 6) Operator will utilize the Auto-TIG process to weld base and overlay material in the fabrication of pressure control equipment such as Blowout Preventers and other associated pressure control equipment.  Will also utilize TIG process to perform fabrication and repairs as required.  The welder will adjust machine setup to vary size, location and penetration of weld bead.  Will utilize overhead cranes and rigging for handling of components weighing in excess of 50,000 pounds.  Performs grinding and arc gouging operations as required.

Stainless Steel Welder

Details: Stainless Steel Welders needed at Calgon Carbon Corporation's Equipment and Assembly Plant on Neville Island, PA. LOCATION:  Pittsburgh, PA, USA (Coraopolis)Salary:  $17.00 (depending on experience) Major Responsibility: Qualified candidate will work in production job shop welding ASME code pressure vessels using flux core, GMAW, and submerged welding processes.  Candidate is required to pass an AWS vertical plate weld testing using FCAW processes at the interview and have demonstrated experience using the above processes for a minimum of 2 years in a production environment.  Candidate must have experience in operating a forklift, overhead and jib cranes, saws, grinders, ironworker, and cutting/burning equipment.  Must be proficient in reading shop drawings. Candidate must be able to weld stainless steel using primarily GTAW and GMAW process to a high degree of quality. Candidate will be required to be certified in ASME Section 9 in GTAW, GMAW and FCAW while employed.
