Maintenance Technician
Details: Maintain preventative maintenance program covering all equipment, while performing a variety of maintenance tasks on facility equipment including: electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical which keeps the facilities buildings, machines, equipment and fixtures in good repair and working order Performs electro-mechanical operations needed to remove, dismantle, disassemble, repair and occasionally rebuild and replace defective devices for machines or equipment Maintain inventory of critical repair parts Performs emergency work orders, repairs and troubleshoots equipment in a timely manner Keep work area clean and observe all safety rules Perform all other work as deemed necessary by the Maintenance Manager Identify, record and report any problems relating to the product, process and quality system Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels A committed understanding (to know thoroughly, grasp or comprehend) in achieving safety, environmental, production and quality goals

Charged with preparing vacant apartments for new residents and performing routine and emergency maintenance of all kinds, Maintenance Technicians must have a working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, repair and service; the ability to troubleshoot problems and take appropriate action; superior customer service skills; and a great attention to detail. One or more years of hands-on general maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, and appliances required; experience in painting a plus. A high school diploma or equivalent preferred; trade school and/or military training or industry designation (CAMT or CAMT II) a plus.
